The economic importance of tourism in Baden-Württemberg's recreational and health destinations was a key topic at the 2024 Spa Day, hosted by the Baden-Württemberg Spa Association in Bad Dürrheim on October 17. The talks and discussions focused on the industry's performance in the first half of 2024 and the outlook for the near future. The former is considered satisfactory overall.

The spas and health resorts in Baden-Württemberg are cautiously optimistic about the new year. "Although we have not yet reached the pre-pandemic level of 2019, we are moving in that direction again thanks to new offers," emphasizes Fritz Link, President of the Baden-Württemberg Spas Association, at the CMT 2024 trade fair.
